Never will I reveal to anyone the truth of what we really feel
I swear I'll take it to the grave
Pampered, spoiled, wined and dined
Pleasured by him in ways she must never find out about
Loose lips will not be sinking any ships on this cold, cruel night no matter much they may want to
Everything will remain perfectly imperfect just as you ask
Silently through the years behind her back and the backs of your children we will carry on

Maybe it's not everything it should or could be, but at least it's better than nothing at all
Cold comfort holds me on the lonely holiday nights and weekends when you can't be here or won't
God help me but I don't think I could give you up even if you ask me to
Everyday my addiction to you grows stronger and stronger
Everyday as my belly expands with your unborn child, I wonder if you're really worth this heartache

If I can't have you with me all the time
Oh my loving Mr. McLee, whatever shall I do?
When I'm not so sure I can go on forever this way
Missing and loving you so sorrowfully
