Aquarius is my name.
Forever the dreamer.
Always the loner.
Wanting more, yet seldom happy.
That  was my lot in life.

I  looked at the heavens,
wondering why God made me this way.
All around are happy men and women, blacks and whites, straights and gays, Christians, Muslims and Atheists. Everybody fits in
with those they're meant to be with.

Fate has always denied me what I wanted.

People say that being bisexual is a blessing.
People say black is beautiful.
As a lonely bisexual black man,
I scoff at such notions.
For I'm all alone in the world.

Alone in my brilliance,
striding through the university campus,
among throngs of men and women,
secretly wishing I had someone for me.
Someone who gets me.

Then out of the blue.
You came into my life.
Now I can't get enough of you.
My fine black sister.
My Scorpio Goddess.
