My true love is not handsome

Nor bright or filled with need.

He is strong and brave of heart,

And it is to he that my soul heeds.

I have not looks or money,

And wit have not I.

Yet he loves me anyway,

Amd puts me on a pedestal high.

His light caress I yearn for,

His love fills the sky.

We were born for each oter,

And neither of us wonders why.

Content we are in each others arms,

Our heartbeats chime as one.

We are so lost in each other

And our lonely days are done.

I love him with my heart and soul,

He loves me just the same.

I think of him every second,

Get chills at the sound of his name.

And so today I stand here,

Proclaiming for the world to hear.

"I love you now and forever!"

And out of nowhere, his voice:

"I love you too, my dear."
