As I listen to my burdened heart
I hear, when one is troubled
Silence is not inner peace
but words unsaid, unspoken
Things around me are falling apart

I cannot control my destiny
Nor mold my uncertain future
Tomorrow dawns a new day
The sun may shine bright
But I am so very unhappy

Finding that I am a control freak
A savior unbidden am I
The world needs saving
From human kind it seems
The best resolution is what I seek

But true realization I find
Is that no matter what I say or do
I cannot achieve on my own
To make our world a better place
Unite, we must, human kind
