Did it ever seem so futile?
Everyone cheered and
I, alone on this marble stage,
Failed to see the glory
Inherent in
Existing as some sort of
Deity

Trigger #2: acrostic (double, inverted)

Well I'm still confused and should it still stand in the challenge?

You confused me

by stating that your poem is a double acrostic. That would be first letters down spelling "deified" and end letters up spelling it as well. It took me a bit to see that you've picked a palindromic word and count down and up on the first letters. Clever and cool.<p>

And I loved your "meta" comment about the spelling errors, so I gave you a five. The poem isn't bad, but your attitude is excellent. And you're funny. :-)

Yes, yes I spelled both words wrong

However, it was totally on purpose *cough* >.>

But really, it's symbolic of how it's false, how it's really not heresy and really not a pedestal. It's meta lol. I do that sometimes. <.<
