He calls me goddess

-They say this man is too small

"Don't you want a man that can handle you, wrap himself around you and make you smaller?"

smaller...

don't you want to be smaller

compress your insides
into this tiny little space
squeeze yourself down
remove yourself of these burdenful things of self worth and respect

till you almost no longer exist

then

we will all love you
lay down
and worship you

...and I wonder
if this is how the big bang happened

All I want to do is explode

but he calls me goddess
and all I can think of is stardust

My feet the rings of Jupiter
My legs built strong on Neptune's moon

My thighs - this quivering expanse an entrance to this milky way

he is strong and his soul is brave

it takes courage to find faith

in another

without asking them to be less

and he is on his knees for me

-They say this man is like the rest

"You know he's going to turn his head at the first little thing that walks his way."

...well little things are easy to capture

try holding sunlight in your hand

and I will show you
all the many splendid ways

I can warm
and sizzle
and boil

and will burn you

touch me
stoke this fire to the flame
but I will not be contained

Faith is not devotion

and this man may falter

we are frail in the weakness
for these body's

Lustful lips that tease and tantalize

Greedy mouths that swallow and suck the marrow from the bone

Envious eyes that long to be

consumed

Until we only exist
within each others flesh

it is our free will

and he has come freely to worship

Me

I will envelop him
In this love that exists beyond space or time

So that he may grow hard and true
into all that he can and will become

within me

Until at last

I echo his dominion over me

out into the night
and sing my praise for him at the moon

OH MY GOD

entwined we move

two souls

creating universes
