oh beth, for thee i cry
my eyes swim with tears
my heart aches
i wander through the endless halls
of your loneliness
i climb the desolate rotting tower
of your shattered dreams
i pray for your safety
surrounded by dark demons of the night
i hope for the light
to break through the shackles of despair
i cry, for if not i
then who?
who then, will cry for you?
