Ode to passion

Oh lover,
Your passion
Oh how it makes my blood sing
Oh how it makes my heart tumble
Stumble
Tripping about drunk
On happiness
On delight
On the answering passion
Awakened inside
My body shivers
My eyes seek their shelter
Only to resurface
To gaze into the intensity
The moment
The rightness
I flower beneath you
For you
Gently you stoke the flames
Stroke fire into my body
The kiss of your fingertips
Your lips
Scorching a path over my skin
Oh how I would plead
For you to end this
This exquisite torture
If I could speak
So, lover, my eyes must do the pleading
The begging
I writhe for you
Face contorted
A mask of bliss
Finally it bursts from my lips
The whispered surrender
And then we are rocked
Together
Feeling each second
Together
The flames you have so carefully brought to life
Now consume
Racing wildly over my limbs
Entwined
As the ecstasy mounts
Building
Careening wildly as it reaches its peak
Lying together
Arms and legs a tangle
Sleepy smiles and skin damp
Oh lover,
Your passion
How it does make my heart sing
