Oh tiger moon, oh tiger moon,
you are rising like a big balloon,
you come for me but far too soon,
roaring, with bloody fangs.

I see you arc across the sky,
through the window of my eye,
knowing that you are nearby,
waiting, with bloody fangs.

Oh tiger moon, you're bloody red,
ensnaring me inside my head,
demanding that you must be fed,
calling, with bloody fangs.

There is no panic, only hate,
remembering it is our fate
to meet again another date,
tiger moon, oh tiger moon.

oh nice!

Tight, compact, moving, and not a single forced rhyme, and a lovely, lovely ending; clear, yet often surprising: "the window of my eye" ... oh nice. Yes, nice. (*looking around for a prize of some sort*)

Harvest Moon

I like the circle you draw in the moon's bloody light. I know it's an interlocked form and leaning towards calling it icingsugar's Bob formula. LOL. I'm likely wrong. But I enjoyed the poetry anyway.
