Old Habits

Things used to be
wrapped in simplicity
as I walked along
entranced by your song

Now I have found
My voice that I sound
free of your scorn
I have been reborn

I won't fall into your spell
I won't fall back into hell
I will do what I should have done all along
I will find where I belong...

~~

A nice little write

Is this proclamation of independence;

Let me further declare,

Welcome to Lit.
