Old nor’easter
Oh how you blow
From heaven up high
Far down here below

Bringing with you a howling wind
And so much rain it should be a sin

Water water everywhere
Ditches fill and overflow
The roads flood
All turned to mud

Old Nor’easter
How you blow

Now off with you
It’s time to go

Good poem. Reminds me of a much older style of poetry.

The last two lines of this stanza are a little off:

Water water everywhere

Ditches fill and overflow

Roads flood

And everything has turned to mud

Maybe you could try something like this:

Water water everywhere

Ditches fill and overflow

And the Roads flood

All turned to mud
