So I have these wings
A thousand tear drops for feathers
Here and there they are burnt away
From the friction of air
And I wonder if these doctors
Can give me patchwork parts
Shiny steel and rivets
Where once was holy down
Millennia I’ve waited for these robotics
And me born flesh
Little more than a quarter century ago
