at the Praden Ranch
Brisk passage, the tiger’s coarse, long fur,
her evanescent metallic purr,
fang formations in that cave
whose entrance moves: touch – touch her.
Press fingers past the stiff steel wire
to feel her black and orange fire –
razor flames whose flowings shave
your stubbled courage: touch – touch there.
