There you were, standing on
the banks of the Galena River.
Naked, my lover,
where I had first met
her
years ago.
I told you that story, and you wanted to come and
become that part of me.

Just a careless smile, and
that gremlin hope for greener grass
which metastasized, sparked, and spoke.
Tickled, warmed and crept
Freaked, frightened, roared!

I climbed upon you and
closed my eyes.

They were open though when we arrived,
where my heart had always hidden.
On the Galena River in that meadow by those rocks.
When you looked at me with lust, and
triumph.
When we did it, and undid
her.
