Sometime before we reached the Lincoln Tunnel.
She came as we emerged into Manhattan.
The bus was full with people,
Hannah had the window seat
She unzipped her jeans

We took the C train
To Penn Station

On the LIRR

Anonymousalmost 19 years agoYou need to take another look at your punctuation. It was very inconsistent between strophes. While the poem had some great imagery and potential, just didn't rock my world as written.
Anonymousalmost 19 years agoI don't know if this poem is a fiction or not but it takes me back through the years to when I was about seventeen and I had a similar bus ride except it was on the 208 from Sheffield :-).
Fond memories. If I could I'd give you 10/5 for reminding me.
After all that nostalgia I think it is a good poem too!
