On the day I die, don't cry.
Laugh at the jokes we shared.
Wonder at the depth of our relationship
Rejoice that we had our time togther

On the day I die, don't weep.
Smile remembering our shared secrets
Sigh about the dreams we talked of living
Enjoy the memories of all we achieved

On the day I die, don't grieve.
Frown at those that sob but never knew me
Chastise those who weep only for themselves
Comfort all that are confused and angry

On the day I die, don't mourn.
I will be watching over you forever
My soul will shelter and protect you
Mine is the love I gave you for eternity.
