Vistas in an azure sky
sun journey night into day
birdsong, breathless, beguiling
springtime a sojourn away

Splintering rain slip slowly
lacerate soul to the core
winter freeze burning soul dream
summer, rush back through hat door

Lilting lark ever now calling
bluebell there smiling the sky
wistful mist fade to glory
snow, melting tears born to cry

Dying, dawn of my hopeless
petal of pain touch my hand
dewdrops of dead encompass
dry, tearful cry, blossom sand
