I dreamt of her
A narcissus among gators
But she's words, foam on the ocean
A plastic world, shrinkwrapped on real life,
Overlays the silence with tiny voices, tiny voices.
"Are you there?" "Here I am!" "Are you there?"
We met, dimensionless on the wire,
Sad photons, our kisses.
No words, just ones and zeros.
