A blank page:

A challenge?

A curse?

A question,

Waiting to be put in verse?

A desert to cross,
Or a cross to bear?
Neither here, nor there
an empty page
Full of future amazement
Or doodles and scrawls?
A waste, an investment,
What all
is in store?

I like "writing process" literature. I have a short story about this in my files! It would not be appreciated by the folks here though. You've captured this theme well here.

Five stars from me.

No blank stare

What all is in store?

A virgin terr'tory

Unmarked by wild bore.

A dream of Ascension

beyond the bed snore.

Origami orgasms

In Operatic score.

Applause for your poem

And request to write more.
