how many times can blue eyes cry
start again?
love again?
are you insane???
but hope must never die
no matter how many times
it takes
all the broken dreams
endless tears and fears
fade in the light of that smile
brokean heart will heal once again
slowly, but always again
it must
the alternative is unbearable
a heart cut off from hope
is a spirit destroyed
not by love betrayal or any one man
but by self
so remember, the only way to heal is to love
if only just once more
this once more
look at that smile and believe
once more
