Oppressed by Society,
Trying to forget
Freedoms of the past.
Thoughts concealed,
Kept only to yourself.
Never to share
Emotions inside.
One Captive Soul
Found an escape.
A secret love,
Life comes anew.
Love once discovered
Never the same.
A betrayal of trust,
Love forever gone.
One Captive Soul
No longer fighting.
Spirit is broken,
All hope is lost.
