Not what I wanted to do.
Such suffering, one should not
have to endure. A daily dose
of hated ... Fear.
Calling out, to my love this night.
I wish I could stand ... Fight.
For all, that is right.
All we want. I love you
still ... never doubt.
One day, forever, shall be ours.
Heartaches ... Erased.
I know this is a dream. For
one can never erase,
obliterate such hurt ... confusion.
So many trials ... dreams.
Upon the winds. Hoping to
make it all better. How does
one do that, I ponder.
To take away fears ...
That have every right,
to be present. The real threat,
of not knowing ... Never
ending nightmares, emerge.
Stomach ties ... Knots.
Never getting sleep.
Always on the alert.
For what "could" happen.
Run away ... This I ask.
Plead ... Beg
Be safe. For I shall,
protect you eternally.
I love you, more than life
itself. Please remember.
I await you ... here.
For our one day,
will come. Upon
glittering wings,
at the rainbows end ...
One day ...
..still heats a simmering pot. I may take this a lil differently but I really like it a lot, it served as a reminder to me. I love the ending . If even in a dream, that day is waiting for its time to be 'today'.
pats on the back <grin> your words wrapped in emotions brought out a very good poem. They can re write it, re-create it and critic it, but nothing replaces the feelings felt when written and relayed in such an honest poem, in such an honest way.
You had me in tears with
this one ~ your words carry
such a raw emotion that it reaches
inside and touches my heart.
This was beautiful and your poetry
is blossoming.
Thank you my friend.
