One day to live

What would you do if you had one more day to live?
See I had this dream last night about this girl
Who only one more day on this Earth God would give
At first her head was spinning in a whirl.

She cried like she never cried before
But than that was not how she wanted to spend her last day
I saw her sitting there as I walked through the door
She grabbed me held me tight and said "dont leave me this day"

At first we talked about how great life had been
And laughed about the dumb things we had done
See shes my best friend Ive loved her through thick and thin
She didnt know how much I cared she was my ray of sun

We went to see her friends to tell them goodbye
And to see her enemies to try and make amends
Her friends they were upset and began to cry
Enemies distrought on the arguments on which the relationship depends

With her last moments on earth she looked at my eyes
And she said how much she loved me that I dont even know
I told her how much I cared throughout my cries
And with our first and last kiss My feelings for her I would show

And with that I held her so close and so tight
As she died in my arms that very sad night
I looked down at her face such a beautiful sight
And cried and cried for the sad loss with all my might
