I walked down the tree ladden street
A warm breeze still at my back
With wind chimes sad yet soothing
My thoughts full of you, your beautiful voice
Oh how I'm missing you on one of the most precious
Last summer's days
I turn around you are not there
I still feel you even after such a short while
Seemingly my deep dark eternity
I turn the corner
You know the one up the drive and where the leaves
are falling in the yard
Straight to my door
The one I anxiously with schoolgirl butterflies
Still wait
For my one, my only, my you.........................

I like this.

It's a stream of conciousness and love note combined. Thank you.
