there was a warning there
in that first drink, innocently presented from my knees
I served it to you because you needed it
and you always get what you need

i should have known
that one part root beer, one part lemon and one part topless
could only mean there was another part
that would effervesce like arsenic, far too late

some of what you do
manifests slowly,
like sweet poison
one part recognition, one part release, one part deadly.

some of what you do
manifests in retrospect
like a eulogy
one part warning, one part lesson, one part conquered

all of what i do
manifests with acceptance
kneel and serve, til He asks no more
one part root beer, one part lemon, one part topless

A bit of D/s play that's not all somber and serious.
