If I had one question
to ask of you
Would you
even answer?
If you could answer
It might not be what
I want hear
I'm on the end of a loosing
relationship
That has skidded into high gear
I'm confused, hurt
And only you can make that clear

If I posed one question to you
Would you listen
Speak to me, tell me anything
Even if it is to hate me
The silence in my heart
From deafening of my ears
And the lack of sight thru
these eyes

You took me to a place
And now I can't get back
And if you had one question
I will always wonder what it would be?
