You said you'd always care
You promised you'd never hurt me
You promised you'd always be there
So why is your back turned to me?
Why are you walking away?
We were supposed to be together
For forever and a day
Now the tears are falling
Sliding from my eyes
Now my soul is dying
Though it comes as no surprise
Now my heart is breaking again
But it wasn't healed before
The little pieces shatter smaller
Crashing to the floor
"Only fools fall in love"
Is what they say
I said that they were wrong
I thought we'd be okay
But the saying is very true
Everything feels so unreal
Another nightmare added to the pile
That with, I'll have to deal
So I curl up on my bed
Cry until my eyes are dry
Get back up
Try to get on with my life
