Only you have the ability to make my heart skip,
With just a slight twist of your lips.
Only you have the ability to make my heart sing,
With just a look, that says it all.
When I'm down in the dumps and feeling lost,
Only you have this power that lifts me up.
When I'm feeling on top of the world and I don't know why,
It's because of you. The one I wished for.

Kobaabout 13 years agoAs I was reading this I couldn't help wondering if you wrote this for the same person in the prior two poems. I think the poem needs a little "oomph" but the message comes across in very plainspoken sincere language so I give it a 5 on those merits.
