Open

byLucy1970Harker©

You open my mind
Like the finest whiskey
Dissolving the baggage, the barriers

You open my mouth
Like the bee to a honeycomb
Sweet and sticky, we give and we get

You open my buttons
With a sculptor's chisel
Every gentle move gets closer
To your inspired vision

You open my heart
Like a thief with a padlock
Undeterred by bolts, chains or alarms
There to protect it from harm

You open my legs
Like the sun on a morning glory
My fluttering flower is fleeting and fragrant
In the seduction of dawn

You open my soul
Like door of a bird cage
Watch it fly, unfettered
Floating to the sky
In my hail of hallelujahs
