If I’ve pissed you off recently,
don’t worry about it.

I checked it out on myself, first,
just to make sure it would work.
Had a sincere and heart-felt talk
with someone today, about

this very subject. He (
or she) said for me to
not worry about it too much,
because he (

or she) checked it out
on themselves, first.

Protective of the gods

Love the ireverent fresh spirit. Ever since Jobe it's still fresh. Some say we create god in our image...

BTW - bravo for the other poem.

The Destruction of Conscience

This is inspired and inspiring.
The voice of God is in my conscience
and the scriptures tune that voice out.
I can feel a poem stirring inside.
Now there's a thought
to give one pause;
when you talk to yourself
you're talking to God;
else how do you know
His answers in advance?
