swelling pain of inner eye
as rot grows deep inside

poison all the people
to drink lives... like wine

where do you rest
always fighting higher
still never the best
strike a pedestal pose
tall, careless, waiting for the fall

you know is inevitable
as the day turns to night
becoming less then nothing
a cancer upon the light
only resting when you die

oh the pressure of what is right
sickening without dignity in life
captured in a category so weak
once proud now,

it hurts to see

this burning anger for my kin
birthright stolen by idle sins
life has hue, yet remains grey
now i want you, and options too

see the whore ship of fame and fortune
suffering or experience has no chance
the tv idol is your living doom
for we all spin in decadence

an illusion of control
a vortex of confusion
the only final solution
cut it out

it hurts to see
cut it out
it hurts to be
cut it out
cut it out
cut it out

i can't care anymore
