------------------------------

We talk each day
And express our love
Which I really think
Does come from above

But something is missing
Our hearts sense this
And we both know
Just what it is

I miss you so
You miss me too
So we make plans
And we'll meet anew

I call you up
We set a date
And promise each other
We'll not be late

And before the day
That we're going to meet
I get the confirmation
For this special treat

I purchase the ticket
So crisp and new
That will allow me
To go see you

The day finally comes
I feel such rapture
As time creeps to
The time of departure

I pack my bag
And take a shower
I'll be with you
Within a few hours

I brush my teeth
And comb my hair
I'm gonna look good
When I get there

I catch the bus
You drive your car
But I only wish
It wasn't so far

We've planned to meet half way
So that together we'll be
A two hour drive for you.
And a ride over an hour for me.

I get there first
And wait for you
And when you arrive
I'm no longer blue

You stop your car.
And then you see,
Me rushing to you,
And you rush to me.

We hug each other,
And hold on tight
Having you so close
Feels so very right

I say to you
"I love you so.
I've missed you too.
More than you know."

"Me too," you say.
And then you rest
Your pretty little face
On my pounding chest

And then tears of joy,
Begin filling our eyes
As our happiness blooms
And our sorrow dies

But you reach up,
And wipe my tears away.
I do the same to yours,
And something, I start to say.

But you stop me short,
When one tender finger
You place upon my lips,
And my words just linger.

I kiss your lips
And hold you tight
The feeling I get
I just can't fight

I touch your hair
And caress your face
The smell of you
Makes my heart race

Looking in your eyes
I see your love
I thank the stars
That shine from above

I hold your hand
And open your door
As you get in the car
It's you I adore

I then walk around
And when I climb in
I caress your cheek
And your pretty chin

We start to leave
I touch your thigh
You hold my hand
Which makes me sigh

I raise your hand
To my longing lips
And place a kiss
On your finger tips

You look at me
I smile at you
And we both say
"Baby, I love you."

We begin our journey
To our favorite room
Where I already know
You'll make me swoon

We finally arrive
And we check in
We get the key
And say "Al fin."

We unpack the car
And I go get ice
We take a shower
And smell so nice

We pore a drink
We talk and laugh
That's when I'm assured
You're my other half

We listen to music
And dance real slow
And feel our love
Over each other flow

We're with each other
Where we should be
In each other's arms
Just you, just me

I hold you tight
And kiss your lips
I rub your back
And caress your hips

We both lay down
And touch and kiss
And make sweet love
To an explosive bliss

For a few fabulous days
And also the nights
We'll bring one another
To such exquisite heights

As you lay there
Your back to me
I get as close
As I can be

When you drift off
I caress your face
And hold you close
In a warm embrace

I hear your breath
So soft and low
And while you sleep
I don't let go

And when we awake
Our eyes do meet
And then you say
"I'm hungry, let's eat."

You brought some snacks
We munch on that
Or we go out
To eat and chat

And if we leave our room
For a special treat
I know it'll be
Where we always eat

I hold your hand.
You smile at me.
You sip your Pepsi
And I drink some coffee.

And when we're done
It's to the store
For odds and ends
We didn't get before

We enter the store
And we look around
We end up buying
What you have found

Something just makes it
Part of the romance
When we play lotto
And take a chance

We play a game
Before we do go
It is just luck
This we both know

To our first home
We do then return
To that little room
Where our passions burn

We sit and talk
We'd like to rest
But yet to come
Is the very best

You love to swim
And so do I
It's so much fun
That ain't no lie

You look so nice
In your bathing suit
And I can't resist
Touching your delicious fruit

We take a swim
And play around
We hug and kiss
We're heaven bound

We come back in
And take a shower
And then make love
With such sweet power

We hold each other,
And one another caress
Before we get up
And start to dress,

So we can go out
To find some fun
And we end up
Buying a sticky bun

We look for somewhere
Where we can dance
But of finding some place
There's not much chance

We hit the bar
To play some pool
The way you play
Your just too cool

On our way back
It's that darn train
I can't help laughing
When you don't refrain

You cuss it out
When you jokingly say,
"I wish that S.O.B.
Would just go away."

I laugh at you.
You punch my arm,
And then grin at me
With all your charm.

When we get home
You call your house
And I sit there
As quite as a mouse

And then you say
You'd like to rest
So you'll be rested
For what comes next

I let you sleep
For a little while
I look at you
And I do smile

I love to watch you,
When you're asleep
It kindles my love
From so very deep

I love to hear
Your breath so soft
It makes my heart want
To float aloft

I see you smile
While you do dream
And I ask myself
"Is it whip cream?"

I have a beer
Or maybe two
And then I long
To lay with you

I get in bed
And hold you tight
And when sleep comes
It, I do not fight

For then I know
I'm where I belong
And long to stay
For so very long

For three fabulous days
We find such bliss
When we make love
And hug and kiss

But the time together
Just goes too fast
Even though we wish
Forever it would last

And while we know
It's hard to conceive
This heaven on earth
We'll have to leave

We hold each other
Oh so very tight
And promise no tears
During our last night

We make passionate love
And make it last
For we both realize
Tomorrow is coming fast

Yet, the last day comes
As time marches on
And our time together
Is all but gone

We wake up early
And just once more
We make sweet love
Like the times before.

We enjoy each other
For a little while
We hug and kiss
And try to smile

But the trip back home
We hate to face
We'd rather stay
In this special place

We take a shower
Then pack the car
We leave with sadness
To travel far

When we've checked out
We ready your car
For your trip home
Which is rather far

And then we go
And grab a bite
And this gloomy feeling
We attempt to fight

We tell each other
One day for sure
These trips we make
We'll need make no more

For we'll be together
And someday at last
All of this traveling
Will be in the past

We then return
Trying to go slow
To where we met
A few days ago

We sit and wait
'Till the bus does come
We resist our sorrow
Wishing it would go numb

And when the bus arrives
I long so much to stay
Right by your side
Each and every day

But I must go
And so must you
We will be back
I know that's true

We hold each other
I hear you cry
When I hear this
I want to die

I hold you tight
And then we kiss
And tell one another
Each other we'll miss

I say so long
And "I love you."
You say the same
I know it's true

I board the bus
You get in your car
And then sadly again
Soon, We'll be afar

I blow you a kiss
As you drive off
Us having to part
Is so very tough

I pray to God
Who's love is true
To keep you safe
And watch over you

I think of us
The miles go by
I miss you already
And want to cry

But instead of that
I can't feel sad
Remembering all the fun
That we both just had

I relive each moment
That we were together
My heart does grow
As light as a feather.

I listen to music
And I sing along
To each and every
Of our favorite songs

I finally get home
And look to see
What's in the special bag
That you've packed for me

I have to smile
When I do see
All of the things
You gave to me

All of the beer
And the candy too
I say to you
"Oh baby, I love you."

I pray once more
That you have found
Your way back home
All safe and sound

I then call you up
Having waited a while
I hear your voice
Which makes me smile

We talk for a bit
And tell one another
That we are safe
And love each other

And then we agree
That we'll talk later
And we say goodnight
And add, "See you later alligator."

We talk each day
And express our love
Which I really think
Does come from above

It don't take long
Before we both miss
Being with each other
And that wonderful bliss

I miss you so
You miss me too
So we make plans
And we'll meet anew
