In this time, in this place, and in your condition
it is fitting to give this day recognition.
A sweet, flowery, poetic reminder
that forty-two years ago today you changed my life forever.

The candy is a symbol of how sublime
was the fit of our organs that first time?
My fragrant feeling of entering your moist softness...
and the awe that filled me with my explosiveness.

The flowers, your favorite, are a sign of my affection
that our union was only one part of my attraction.
Not only were we a perfect physical match
but emotionally and psychologically together we latch.

The poem is one way I can express my love
that seems to have originated from above.
Words of appreciation are empty without action,
and I trust my loyalty signifies my impaction.

I love you, a little bit
this much, as we fit
together after forty-two years
of ups and downs without fears.

I love you!
