OUR LAST CARD
(Those Were The Days: reprise)

I was found on this sea coast,
I'm a sea shell,
to be found is to be lost,
but I feel well.

I was heard of in the grapevine,
rumor like,
angel's portrait, pure and pristine,
by Van Dyke.

"I'm a fucker", so you say,
but you should know,
I have had my brightest day,
in all my glow.

Did you get it? Was it good?
You seemed to like it,
just be mute, don't make it crude,
don't try to mike it.

CHORUS
"Keep music always live",
Musician's Union says,
memories don't archive,
just sing: Those were the days!

I can't make heads or tails,
I have no clue,
is it me, without details,
or is it you?

My details were archived,
I had a crash,
I was going but you arrived
in such a rush!

Pebble stones forming shapes
in the sand,
for depicting human apes,
hand in hand.

We were found on this seascape,
trying hard,
to escape the human ape:
our last card.

CHORUS
"Keep music always live",
Musician's Union says,
memories don't archive,
just sing: Those were the days!

in the first five stanzas

I like what you are doing with the EOL rime, I am a little ignorant here, you have two

Choruses. And the off rhyme seems haphazard. Sometimes A, sometimes B?
