Fat.
Fat is not a word.
Fat is just short for
Forever and always tortured.

The pain starts
When we wake up and have
To look at ourselves in the
Mirror.

Every morning
We try to accept who
We are.

So we gather
Enough strength to go to
School and have it
Thrown in our faces.

We live with the pain,
With the knowledge of being
Fat. We try harder
And harder
Until

We are
Eventually pushed
Beyond all hope of
Ever being
Normal.

So
We decide
To close the door
And that’s
When you finally care!

But it’s too late.
You can’t take back
The words that have been
Tattooed to
Our souls.

Your words hurt us.
They pierce our
Hearts.
They burn in our minds.

Take notice that there is a person
Under all of the fat,
And we care.
Fat.
Forever and always tortured.
