Our Treat

It’s rare that I remember dreams
I really don’t know why
Yet this night like no other
I let my feelings fly

Sleep brought me such amazing strength
And passion played its part
A dream of passion, power and will
This dream came from my heart

The plot I think you gave to me
Your fantasy my test
You followed me so willingly
I simply did the rest

Taken by this power
That consumed our very souls

The memory so clear and strong

I linger now and reminisce

I learned a little about myself
About the man inside
I savor this awakening
Careful to take it all in stride

I found a missing piece of me
