I do not see you standing there,
But quite soon I got to know,
You came out of nowhere,
And now we share a perfect glow.
A rose in need of care is how I tend this friendship brought unto me,
Cherished as often as possible, though guarded with lock and key.
Worth more than all treasures,
Our love in bloom it does abound,
It spans all space and knows no measures,
But we recognise our roots and where they are ground.
The air about is full and resonating,
With the cooing of many doves,
Sends my heart gloriously pulsating,
They herald a gift from above.
A gift brought by angels from on high,
I have sort and now found,
Increasingly I feel your presence nigh,
A love that fills me and warmth surround.
