Ties no longer bind me.
I'm free tonight for you.
He's left me broken hearted,
the feelings are so new.

Raw and painful heartache,
deep within they grow.
Heated words of passion,
I only long to know.

Something in the dark,
reaches out to me.
I clutch it to my breasts,
this loving memory.

He once was so well spoken,
loving me each night.
Now my heart is bleeding,
a painful, quaking fight.

Words of love I seached for.
Each night he gave me none.
Now I go to wander,
looking for someone.

Someone who will hold me.
Keep me safe and sound.
Someone who will help me,
stop before I drown.

I'm reaching out to you.
Can you feel my hand?
Please, just take a moment,
and bring me back to land.

Love Loses

What a sad commentary on something that probably started out with enough laughs and enough love to completely envelop two young people when life's wedded journey began. Ronnie W.

A pain that most can hear,

floundering between two loves;

the old has fled

and new is not yet here.
