I think I'm in over my head
Don't know where my heart's being led
But if it feels this good to drown
I'll swim deep in the joy I've found
Waters rushing around my brain
No! Please don't let the waters drain!
It's warm and calm and happy here
In the arms of my dulcet dear
Your kiss just like a symphony
A lush and flowing harmony
The music ringing in my ears
Washing away my nervous fears
I want to be your shining knight
Defend you, drive away your fright
To keep you near and safe and warm
And give you shelter from the storm
Hold me now and forever more
Come with me to find what's in store
Through times so good and those of blue
What matters most is I'm with you

The meter is good, but this poem is meant to be read slowly or it could sound a little bumpy in areas.
Through times so good and those of blue
What matters most is I'm with you <--beautiful!!
