Own me

She smiled today
A tiny grin, just a smirk
A tiny upturn of one corner of her lips
She smiled today
     -- At me

My grin was too big
Did I look as goofy as I felt?
Did I smile too long?
She smiled today
     -- At me

She batted her eyes today
A flicker of her eye lids
Long lashes brushing long lashes
Her eyes flickered today
     -- At me

Her hand touched mine today
A tiny touch; just a brush
Small fingers with perfect nails
The smallest of caresses
     -- On me

Our lips touched today
A kiss without tongues
A moment of pressure
A soft, moist kiss
    -- On me

Her hand found my face today
Sudden, sharp and brisk
Stinging and indignant
She slapped my face today
    -- I am hers.
