Pain is subject to interpretation
To one, something to be feared, avoided
To one, welcomed, embraced, longed for
A sensation, emotional or physical
That frees the spirit within

Come free my spirit
Let me soar at Your hands
Catapult U/us to new heights
Feed O/our inner most needs

Wield Your whip upon Your slave
my cries of pain, paint upon Your canvas
Your possession, a deep well of need
From which the waters of fulfillment shall be drawn

Pain is subject to interpretation
To one, something to be feared, avoided
To one, a challenge to be faced
To Your slave, a need, undeniable, cherished, freeing

Come free my spirit
