Soft magenta hues of sunset dancing
Upon silken ripples.
Starlings reflect softly
In cooling laps their tails caress.

Fallen branch accepted, gently carried.
Leaves shed to feed
The curved path of lucid element
Guiding soft whisper of trees.

Rapid glaze upon sandstone honed.
Light of ages adoring rock.
Taking softly with purest white,
Seeping with swirling song.

Fresh satin trails of coolest blue
Accept their path with pleasure.
Abundant Lilly in exchange of beauty.
Every sense adoring with the river.

Accept my palette,
Craft pigments with love.
Pour with sable eternal water,
Canvass aching for your touch.

A very good...

...offering from a new poet, painting with words as her painter does with brushes.

"Fresh satin trails of coolest blue

Accept their paths with pleasure"

Words crafted for the ears as well as eyes!
