Palette of my surrender
Please don't bother me with
contented pinks, placid yellows, or
barren spotless whites.
i want only Your densest, most visceral reds,
thick sweltering purples,
jagged, scorching oranges.
i may just murder control tonight,
lest i will myself,
so please be my everything and don't waste my time
with the delicate sachet of tumbling petals,
or the sweet flutter of angel wings.
Let the midnight iridescence of Your eyes
blind mine to a subtle trance
with the magnetic suction of a vampire,
the engulfing odor of boiling sweat,
the archetypal pounding of pterodactyl wings.
Blackness will comfort the moment
when the breathing slows,
and the spotted muddy jungle in Your hips
becomes the palette of my surrender.
