Entwined we lay,
heart rates settle
your hand snakes up
I kiss it,
trace the lines on your palm
invent a tale for each, you
giggle as I speak
first a lightning bolt, ferocious
your sexuality, vivid live
wire, flick your hair, flirty
pout in agreement
second, a dissecting
arrow, straight and true,
your sense of purpose, frown
seriously (seriously sexy)
third your sense of
fun, erratic, a little bit of
cheek, to prove my point
you pinch my nipple
final line, diverging forks
split, the fidelity line,
similar to mine,
we lay together but
we lie apart
