Teetering an edge
the horizon balanced boat
dares the medium
of water and air
fine lining the distinction:
as gasp of breath
gulp of salty brine.

Blue silhouette
on white haze
beneath the day
blending to blue and heat
fiery sun slow burning
sparking flames on
grey blue waves.

Still, at the edge
of existence
this slow progression
dims to distance
vaporized
before our eyes
can blink the salt   away

Very pleasant poem. First two lines are especially nice.
