Are there but only two sounds
Which mean anything now?
The soft thump of your heartbeat
And gentle whisper
Of breath
In this embrace

Of which I am never letting go.
Fingers, furiously
Tugging and pulling
And cold, colder than before but
The heat of your body,
Your glorious body,
Out of nowhere, out of the dark,

Trace a line from your ear to your throat,
Fingertips as soft as kisses,
Slowly, tracing down
All the way,
Past the hollow in your neck that
Glistens with sweat,

And lower,
And shifting,
As you grab my wrist and we roll,
And the sharp softness
Out of nowhere, out of the dark,

My vision is burning red,
Blinded by bliss I lie
Panting as the high waves roll,
Falling from us both as we
Lie together,
Tangled in a
Sticky warm
Embrace.
