white
plain
square
drifting aimlessly through air currents
taking the path of least resistance
until He plucked me
deftly
out of the breeze
looked me over
my shape
my color
considered me intently
and started to work
it hurt
the folds
the twists
pressing and turning me
expertly
knowing me
precise angles
crisp edges He reinforces
permanent creases
scars of my change
patiently He works
as i learn my new shape
under fingers strong
forceful
He keeps me wanting
growing into my new skin
and not until He holds me high
i see his pride
reflected
no longer sad
flat
purposeless
but rather
intricate
beautiful
strong
a paper swan
folded by His hands
what i was always meant to be
