Parents are the people
Who never did things wrong
They always stand for principles
Standing solid, straight and strong
Some may be younger or some a little old
But through your adolescence
They seem to grow quite cold
But if you’ve any sense
You’ll know it right away
Respect them to the letter
And remember what they say
So maybe you’ll be better
When you are old and gray
