The clouds play shadows across the landscape, the moon their light.
The gusts dance upon the earth, tantalizing and teasing those who tread the night.
We are ghosts, whispering to each other in passing, never able to connect.
The warmth of your flesh, the whisper of your breath, the heat of your fire,
All caught upon the evening breeze and fueling the embers of desire.
Come, let me see into your eyes, your mind, your spirit.
For it is through your eyes that your body I will cultivate and capture…
Mine to captivate and enrapture.

I have danced this dance,

with seacliff moonlit strides

And as I read it is as if I am

this that and there at your side

Delicious spins of mist lift night

So to the wind, so you go

your stories are for you to tell

and in reading they are mine to know
