Dont speak to me of passion.
I've known passion.
He edged his way past me in the night
so as not to be contaminated by my need
he looked at me
a smile in his eyes
a tear on his cheek
and ran.
With his heart tucked deep away inside
And even though he ran hard and fast
through the cold night air
I can still feel him
His knife planted firmly in my soul
Yeah, I knew passion
He ran and left me for dead.
